Linking an object to a request

The following roles can link an object to a request:

  • Administrators

  • Compliance managers

  • Users


Requests can be linked to the following objects:

  • Assessments

  • Audits

  • Controls

  • Evaluations

  • Labels

  • Policies

  • Programs

  • Proof

  • Registers

  • Requirements

  • Risks

  • Vendors

Requests can be linked to audits or assessments. Note that a user does not need to be added to an audit or an assessment to be added to a request.

  1. From the left menu, select Audits or Assessments.

  2. Select your audit or assessment.

  3. Select the Requests tab.

  4. Select the request you want to link the object to.

  5. In the right pane, scroll to Linked objects.

  6. Click the arrow in the Link button and do one of the following:

    • Select Link new.

      Select the object from the drop-down menu, then fill out the required fields (they differ depending on the object). Click Create.

    • Select Link existing.

      Select the checkbox next to the object you want to link, then click Link.

    The object is linked to the request.
