You can adjust how you want to receive notifications from Teams. By default, both email and Teams are selected. If you don’t want to receive notification settings in Teams for a particular item, clear the checkbox.
📝 Note
Notifications can only be managed individually by each user. Notifications can't be turned on or off globally for all users.
From the left menu, select Settings.
Select Notifications.
Scroll to the Microsoft Teams section to adjust your notification preferences.
Someone @mentions me - If selected, you will be notified any time you are ‘@mentioned’ in an Activity Feed.
All other notifications . If selected, you will be notified whenever activity is associated with you. For example, if you are assigned a task, you become a control owner, you are added as a member of an audit, etc.
