Question
In the controls crosswalk view, it won’t sort on a program. We can sort by control ID or by requirement ID for other programs, but not for a program. How can I sort by program?
Answer
When sorting on a program column the sort order is based on the number of requirements that a control is linked to. This first screenshot is the bottom of the sorted list when it is in ascending order. So the controls that have 1 requirement linked are the top of the list, then controls that have 2 requirements linked are next, then controls that have 3 requirements linked are last.
This second screenshot is the top of the sorted list when it is in descending order.
Descending order: Controls with the most linked requirements for that program appear at the top, followed by those with fewer.
Ascending order: Controls with the fewest linked requirements for that program appear at the top (e.g., controls with 1 linked requirement), followed by those with more linked requirements.
