Data interpreted by browser locale

Written by Hyperproof Support
Updated this week

Hyperproof interprets and manages some data based on your browser's locale.

Note: If no locale is set on your browser, Hyperproof defaults to the English (United States) locale.

  • Dates - Dates are interpreted differently by locale. For example, if the locale is set to English (United States), 01/05/2023 is interpreted as January 5, 2023. If the locale is set to German, 01/05/2023 is interpreted as May 1, 2023.

Dates displayed in proof generated by a Hypersync are formatted based on the locale of the time zone set for your organization under Settings > General.

  • Calendars - When a calendar is displayed in Hyperproof, the first day of the week varies by locale. For example, the week starts on Sunday if the locale is set to English (United States). The week starts on Monday if the locale is set to Spanish.
