๐ฅ Roles and permissions
The following roles can add a user to the Risk Register:
Administrators who are members of the Risk Register
Compliance managers with manager permissions and who are members of the Risk Register
Users with manager permissions and who are members of the Risk Register
Limited access users with manager permissions and who are members of the Risk Register
After youโve created your Risk Register, you can add team members and assign them work. You can choose to add them to a single risk OR to the entire Risk Register.
๐ Note
You can add users from outside your company, external users, to your Hyperproof organization by inviting them to your organization from Settings > People.
Roles and permissions overview for objects
โ
Facepiles are found on all individual objects, such as risks, and in parent modules, such as the Risk Register. You can add a user to a specific object OR the entire module.
โ
Object roles include:
Managers
Can manage content, members, and settings
Can share, add, edit, or remove files
Contributors
Can share, add, edit, or remove files
Cannot add members or manage settings
Viewers
Can view information about objects where they are a member or have inherited access
Can export objects from the grid view if they are members of the objects or have inherited access
๐ Note
A limited-access user can only access risks assigned to them if they are a member of the Risk Register. If they arenโt a member, they must use the email links to view their assigned risks.
โ
To make things easier, you can add the limited access user as a viewer on the Risk Register. This lets them navigate directly to the risks they need to work on inside Hyperproof. They will still only be able to edit the risks where they have manager or contributor access, but theyโll be able to view all risks listed in the register.

A square in the checkbox indicates that the user or group has object permissions for some of the selected risks. You can modify the setting by clicking the checkbox to make it a checkmark, indicating that the user or group will be added to the selected risks and assigned the selected role for all of the selected risks.
Clearing a checkbox removes the user or group from the selected risks.
Adding a checkmark to a checkbox adds the user or group to the selected risks with the role you chose.
If a checkbox is left as is, no changes are made to that user or group for the selected risks.
Click Review.
The Review and confirm window opens.
Click Confirm.
The user or group is added to the risks.
