Creating notes using Markdown

Written by Hyperproof Support
Updated over 3 weeks ago

Hyperproof supports basic Markdown syntax in addition to the formatting tools displayed in the text box. You can also use plain text. Note that copy-pasting only supports plain text.

Notes can be added to controls and risks.

Below are some examples of basic Markdown.

To create a note on a control or risk:

  1. From the left menu, select the tab that corresponds with the object you want to add a note to. For example, if you want to add a note to a control, select the Controls tab.

  2. Select the specific object. For example, if you want to add a note to control ID 1234, select that control.

  3. Select the Notes tab.

  4. Enter your note.

  5. Click Save.

The note is added to the object.
