Removing a scope from a control

  • Only administrators can remove a scope from a control

Removing a single scope from a control

  1. From the left menu, select Controls.

  2. Select the parent control.

  3. Select the ... (More options) tab, then click Scope assignments.

    The Scope assignments window opens.

  4. Clear the checkbox next to the scope you want to remove.

  5. Click Save.

    The scope is removed from the control.

Removing scopes in bulk from a control

  1. From the left menu, select Controls.

  2. Click the Grid view icon.

  3. Select the checkbox next to the parent control with the scopes you want to remove.

  4. Click Edit scopes.

    The Edit scope assignments window opens.

  5. Clear the checkbox next to the scopes you want to remove from the control.

  6. Click Save.

    The Review and confirm window opens.

  7. Click Confirm.

    The scopes are removed from the parent control and archived.

Note: If the scope has a linked task, the task is canceled when the scope is archived. Note that if the scope is unarchived, the task remains canceled.
