Working with contacts

Written by Hyperproof Support
Updated this week

To help keep your organization manageable, Hyperproof offers a role for individuals who don’t need full access to the platform—the contact role.

A contact is someone relevant to your organization who doesn’t necessarily need to log in to Hyperproof. Rather, they can perform their task via email without ever having to access the platform.

For example, you may need to provide proof of the number of current employees in your company. Rather than messaging your company’s People Ops director on Slack, where they may or may not respond, you can add them as a contact in Hyperproof and assign them a task with a due date. The contact receives an email notifying them of the task. They then provide their proof by using the links in the email. Once they submit the proof, you’ll receive an email notifying you that the proof has been submitted.

Tip: Contacts can be assigned a single task or a repeating task. They can also be added to objects and modules if you plan to upgrade them to a regular Hyperproof user in the future.
